Australian actor Bill Hunter starred in over 60 films, in a career spanning over 5 decades. His best known films saw him star as Bill Heslop in MURIEL'S WEDDING, Barry Fife in STRICTLY BALLROOM and Bob Spart in THE ADVENTURES OF PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT.

 

He played Major Barton in the moving World War I epic, GALLIPOLI and lent his vocal talents to the childrens animated classic, FINDING NEMO.

 

But many critics regard his best role as newsreel cameraman Len Maguire, in NEWSFRONT.
